The Rain Reviva is a simple system designed to operate in most common domestic situations.
It is intended to be located under an existing house or deck structure to utilise this previously wasted space rather than impact on the household's recreational and garden spaces.
By placing the main storage sac (and piping) under a house, the householder is able to locate the unit in an area that can collect all of the roof water by diverting the downpipes to a common pipe. In many new houses, modern plumbing practices already accommodate this by having a common drainage system under the house for roof water.
The Rain Reviva Kit provides a diversion pipe and swing arm that is installed into the stormwater pipe, allowing the total of the rain flow to be diverted to the water sac until it is full. When the maximum capacity is reached, the swing arm progressively moves upwards until the water flow returns back down to the normal stormwater outflow point. Thus the water sac can never “flood”.
The diagram below provides an illustration of how the Rain Reviva system works.
